Treat God Like a Little Dog (Part II)

I shared a story in my last blog from my own life. The point of that story is synchronicity, meaningful coincidence and its appearance in real life – at home, in the office, as you walk down the street. This was not a senseless, simple coincidence. It is evidence of something bigger happening. When you work with synchronicity, amazing things happen.

Ask For What You Need

Synchronicity happens to me a lot. I told the universe (I think of it as the ‘system’) what we needed, and it fetched it for me. I think if we all learn how to consciously activate synchronicity (and it is a learn-able skill), our lives will become easier and it will revitalize our communities – maybe even improve the economy.

Synchronicity is the acausal connection of two or more events. Carl Jung’s development of this concept came to him as he was working through an impasse with one of his clients. Her exaggerated rationalism was holding her back from assimilating unconscious material that would help overcome her impasse and transform. One night, the client dreamt about receiving a necklace with a golden scarab on it – a cetonia aurata. The next day, during the session, an insect flew into Jung’s window. Jung caught it and discovered, surprisingly, that it was a golden scarab; a very rare presence for that climate and area. He handed it to the client and said, “Here is your scarab”.

Synchronicity is Connection

I have many more stories about synchronicity that I’ll share in future blogs, as well as more tips on how to activate the state. I believe that synchronicity points to the fact that we are all connected – let’s connect in a spirit of sharing and cooperation, shall we? I’d love to hear how synchronicity works for you! Send me an email and let me know!
